What is a Gatekeeper?

gatekeeper: n., an influential sender who stands at the gate of a church or fellowship and decides who goes out into cross-cultural ministry.

At Asian Access, a "gatekeeper" is one who influences where missionaries go geographically, what they do, and with whom they work (both mission agencies and national churches). Gatekeepers may be missions pastors or coordinators, missions committee members, college ministry staffers, or any global Christians who want to serve as Senders.

This is a section devoted to Gatekeepers to help you learn more about Asian Access and to be more effective in your role as a sender:
