Learn what it would be like to be a church planting missionary in Japan without having to make a commitment.
Qualifications:
Love Jesus Christ and have been a Christian for at least 1 year by the time of application.
Fun, adventurous people with an interest in Japan or church planting, and/or long term ministry.
20 years of age or completed two years of college.
U.S. or Canadian citizen.
Native or fluent English speaker.

Lead a summer team from your church, school or mission group! Teams of 3-5 members minister in a Japanese church for 2-6 weeks. In addition to teaching English and sharing testimonies, other ministry activities depend upon your team's skills and gifting. Contribute to the recruitment, screening and training of your team members.

Work with a new Japanese church plant in partnership with and under a Japanese pastor. Experienced missionaries will serve as models, and provide guidance in helping you use your gifts and abilities in ministry. Build friendships with Japanese through teach conversational English and other ministry activities, such as music, drama, cooking classes; outreaches; leading Bible studies; teaching English Bible classes or Sunday School classes; children's programs; camps, coffee houses, etc. There will be regular meetings with other missionaries for spiritual nourishment, encouragement, and prayer.

Description:
Partner with a visionary Japanese pastor and congregation to multiply leaders, cell groups and congregations. Lead cell groups in Japanese to raise up new Christians and leaders. Distinctly relational ministry in a country where less than 1% of the population is Christian.

B.A./B.S. degree & Bible certificate (30+ hrs. of Bible classes)
Gifted in evangelism and/or discipleship.

Description:
Occasionally, Asian Access has the need to bring a highly specialized ministry team to Japan. Types of teams include childcare, computer training, medical & counseling, financial planning, etc.
